The XTRABYTES Documentary PTV Segment will be seen on: Behind the Scenes, with Laurence Fishburne
Hey XTRABYTES community! We are delighted to reveal the magnitude of the XTRABYTES documentary we have been gushing about for the last several months.
You all know the exciting news about the project’s massive exposure across TV Networks, but today we are sharing additional information that we believe will bring you tremendous XCITEMENT.
Before getting started, we believe it is necessary to highlight the power of our long term marketing campaign.
As you know, the Commercial has already aired on Fox Business Network during prime time on two occasions to a potential audience of 84 million homes. The commercial was captured by a community member on his mobile phone and uploaded to YouTube. It can be viewed here.
Let’s call this introduction “the foundation” since it was the first time an unknown number of people heard about our project.
What is important to note, is that it generally takes an average of 7 different exposures to something before the average number of people react to learn more, and this is what we love about the opportunity we captured with this media company.
So, what is happening next to maximize the potential for exposure?
Our 1-minute advertisement will also air 400 times, during prime time, within the top 100 Designated Market Areas, primarily on CNBC, CNN Headline News, Family TV, Discovery Channel, and The Learning Channel or equivalent networks.
Also, Public Television is currently airing the 3.5-minute documentary featuring our company on 200+ stations throughout the U.S. These stations will be periodically broadcasting this documentary for a full year to 60 million homes.
But what’s more exciting is that it’s broadcast on a mini-documentary program which is aired between programming segments (rather than commercials) called, “Behind the Scenes with Laurence Fishburne” which of course is hosted by the one and only Laurence Fishburne. It’s an opportunity that can undoubtedly help us with our marketing goal which will focus on attracting particular institutions, people, and projects.
XTRABYTES does not have the rights to this production and we are unable to find out when the content will air in any particular market. In general, Public Television stations do not provide pre or post airing reports that indicate when they intend to air educational programming segments (since they do not function like a commercial network that “sells advertising” and issues paid statements accordingly). Moreover, Public Television controls the distribution rights to our programming for a full year and can air the program at their discretion.
Nonetheless, our media company is working with an exclusive Public Television distributor to ensure that our documentary will air throughout the year (among a variety of affiliates). We’re fully confident of receiving extensive exposure as this distributor has more than three decades of experience distributing similar material.
While XTRABYTES can freely use and share the 6.5-minute corporate documentary and 1-minute commercial without limitation, this does not extend to any production featuring Laurence Fishburne (the host of the show we previously mentioned). Instead, any such segment can only be shown as a PBS production.
