XBY has seen its share of ups and down. From the original plan of a decentralized shared storage system to an ambitious platform for DAPPS that utilizes smart contracts to being programming language agnostic. The platform’s developments continue apace.
Given the scope of the project, 6 months is not all that long. I get it though. People in crypto are used to 10x gains in the span of weeks and when a solid project comes along . . it just takes time.
IMO we have weathered the storm. The Slack has been abuzz the last week or two with the expected publications of a non-technical whitepaper and a final version of the XtraBytes website.
For transparency, I have been a supporter of XBY since April. I have seen things go very well, and I was there when things went poorly. An interview with lead dev Borzalom was posted to YouTube a couple days ago. It was the first time we were able to hear from the dev in audio format. I suggest to anyone who is even remotely interested in XBY to give it a listen and decide if what is being built here is worthy of your attention.

This, in addition to the announcements tomorrow should give investors, speculators, and everyone else a clear idea of what the XBY platform is attempting to achieve. Of course, I am speculating here as well, but as an investor, this is the moment many of us have been waiting for.

I’m curious to think what you guys and gals at reddit think about XBY. Have you lost hope? Or have these news events given you confidence in the project?
Personally, I thought the interview with Borz was fantastic. I listened to it twice and I was surprised at how humble he is. He has a pretty clear vision about XBY, loves decentralization, and wishes to stay focused on development. He thanks everyone for listening to him.
He is deaf. But as a deaf man, I understood him just fine. He laughed in a couple parts and he called this interview a “task”, leading me to believe that this guy is a developer to the bone. And imo, that is exactly what I want in a lead dev for XBY.
Curious to hear what you all think?
